Very heartbreaking news. Sandra and Kids you're in our prayers, you are our family. I remember the time I was pulled over on the side of the road with car trouble and a car full of grandkids. This was before I had a cell phone. Thank goodness Robert came by and made some calls to ensure our rescue. That was Robert. A lawman. There were many lawmen in our family. I'm very proud of them. God be with you all. Robert will be missed.
Sympathy and prayers for the family. We know Keith and everyone is saddened by this loss.
Sandra and all the family. We are so sorry for your loss. Prayers for peace and comfort in the days to come. Louie and Diane
My sincere condolences to your entire family. Working with Robert at the USFS was a joy. He always had a smile and loved what he did. He was a mentor to all of us and I'm grateful to have known him. He was a good man and made positive impacts to his family, friends, and community. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Sending love and prayers to the family. He was a great man and will be greatly missed
Good man, he will be missed. Sending my condolences and prayers to you all.
Robert Reames--a good, honest, hard working American...a man of integrity! His link in the chain of life is strong! Just knowing he was around made you feel better. From skinning deer, to fixing broken pipes, to checking on your house in the middle of the night--you knew who to call, who to count on in an emergency. Sandra, I've lost a mother, a father, a brother, but never a spouse. I know his passing leaves a big hole in your life. I pray that God's peace will be with you, Keith, Tina, Kristen, and Bradley.
Robert left this world a better place!
I'm so sorry for y'all loss! Prayers 🙠being sent for the whole family!
"Chief" was an icon of the Paris community that will be sorely missed. I know that I learned a lot from him while working with him with the Forest Service. He related a lot of historical facts to me both about the forest and our family history in the area. There are a lot of ponds and wildlife plots all over the Mt. Magazine district that are a tribute to his labors throughout his career. I also remember all his work with organizing and shipping out fire crews during the wildfire season. Although he hung up his hat with the USFS, he was not one to just go home to sit around as reflected in his continued efforts with the county sheriff long after most of us would have called it quits. Chief had a strong sense of community and his legacy was one that made a Paris a better place.
Praying for your family.
You all are in our thoughts and prayers ðŸ™. So sorry for your loss. If y'all need anything just let me know.
Sandra,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and family .
