Jonathan Wayne Parson, 36, of Moro, Arkansas passed away peacefully on July 1, 2023 at home in Moro with family by his side, after fighting a 4 month battle with cancer. And our hearts are saddened by his loss. Everyone knew him as the guy who loved his low-ride truck and his 2 dogs (Chico and Joker) and he will be deeply missed.

Jonathan was born on May 19, 1987 at Helena Regional Hospital in Helena, Arkansas weighing 9lbs and 2 oz (a very proud day) for his mom and dad, Joseph (Joey) Wayne Parson and Barbara Ann Passmore.

Jonathan was baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit on the 5th day of April 1998 at Moro Baptist Church in Moro, Arkansas by Brother Bill Elliott. Jonathan's Faith has always stayed strong.

Jonathan is survived by mom, Barbara Passmore (John); dad, Joey Parson (Judy); sister, Heather Hartness Eldridge (Allen); niece, Jayce Eldridge; nephews, Jacob Eldridge and Banner Eldridge; step-brothers, Brandon Jones and Colton Foster; step-sisters, Niki Jones and Heaven Elizabeth Parson; cousin, Elizabeth Sharri Paulman; maternal grandmother, Minnie Wooten Passmore; paternal grandparents, Bobby Parson and Annie Poe Powell (Frank); uncles, Frank Passmore (Gaye), Patrick Parson (Bridgit) and Zackary Parson; aunts, Sherry Passmore, April Parson (Adam), Cheyanne Cassidy and a host of loving relatives and friends.

Jonathan was preceded in death by uncle, Mike Passmore; maternal grandfather, Harvey (Buddy) Passmore; step-mom, Star Parson; step-grandmother, Debbie Gibson Parson; Maternal great-grandparents, Ollin and Altie Wooten and Thurman and Barbara Passmore; paternal great-grandparents, Glen and Modine Parson and Mamaw, Ruby Poe.

Pallbearers will be Frank Passmore, Allen Eldridge, John Hartness, Adam Thompson, Kaden Eldridge, Luke Poe, Brandon Jones and Josh White.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 7, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas with Allen Eldridge officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will follow services at Centeral Cemetery off Hwy 1.
