Growing up, Eric was a fun-loving child. He was full of boundless energy. He knew little fear and would climb the highest tree, jump in the deepest end of a pool and ride the scariest rides. Eric had a million-dollar smile that lit up his face. It was one of the first things you would notice about him. He never had a shy moment and could talk to anyone. He loved science fiction books and movies and had a wonderful imagination. He was very artistic, loved to draw and was teaching himself how to carve. He loved working outdoors and had a job that he enjoyed. He loved his daughters and enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved all animals but especially dogs. He had just gotten a puppy that followed him everywhere. He was looking forward to the next phase of his life.
He left us on July 1, 2023 at the age of 42. He was born on August 12, 1980. He was predeceased by his father, Billy Paul Johnson; his paternal grandparents, Melvin and Salle Johnson and his maternal grandfather, George Maghar.
He leaves behind three beautiful daughters, Selena Farnam, Erica Martin and Allyssa Rapier and 1 grandson, Conner. He is also survived by his mother, Gail Harris; step-father, Steve Harris; his grandmother, Jean Maghar, two brothers, Nicklas Johnson and David Harris, and two sisters, Katrina Harris and Chrystal Blaylock. There are also aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, that will miss him.
He will be greatly missed by all of us who had the pleasure of knowing him and will always be remembered in our hearts.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Barnett Memorial Baptist Church, 5322 Willow Springs Rd, Little Rock, Arkansas 72206.
Flowers may be delivered to Barnett Memorial Church on Friday from 1 pm-4pm or Saturday morning from 9 am-11am. Number to call is 501-529-1355.
