Marilyn Dangerfield passed away suddenly on Friday, June 30th in Searcy, Arkansas. Marilyn was 58 years old. She was born in Searcy on December 27, 1964. Marilyn was married to the love of her life, Richard Dangerfield (Rick), on May 21, 1983. Marilyn graduated from Harding University in 1996 and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Marilyn worked as a registered nurse for roughly ten years. Additionally, she taught nursing classes at ASU Searcy for some years. Marilyn fiercely loved her family, friends and her beloved dachshunds. She was a friend to everyone she met. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rick and her parents, Ralph and Talmadge ''Tiss'' Worley.
Marilyn is survived by her two children, Haley (Amanda) of Kansas City, Missouri, Spenser (Claire) of Searcy, Arkansas and her two grandchildren, Addy and Quinn, who were the stars of her life. Marilyn is also survived by her three brothers, Tom Worley (Phyllis) and Ray Dean Worley of Searcy, Arkansas and Doug Worley (Donna) of Harrisburg, Arkansas.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00PM Thursday July 6, 2023 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy. Funeral Service will be 10:00AM Friday, July 7, 2023. Interment will be at a later date.

Oh my, this is so unexpected. I loved Marilyn, loved working with her, but most of all seeing how proud she was of her family. I remember her unwavering love and dedication to Rick. To the family, I am so sorry. Prayers for each of you.

I so much respected Marilyn. She cared for her husband through his illness and her raised her sons and went to college to her her degree.
