Jeremy S. Penrod, 43, a resident of Scranton, formerly of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023, in Clarksville.

He was born March 19, 1980, in Joliet, Illinois to Willard A. and Christine (Oram) Penrod. Jeremy enjoyed many things including fishing, boating, camping, big trucks, animals, playing flash light tag and supervising all family work.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his father, Willard A. Penrod.

Survivors include his mother, Christine Penrod of Scranton; a brother, Steven Penrod of Scranton; a sister, Misty Penrod and significant other, Josh Hurt of Scranton; a niece, Miley Penrod; his best friend, Jeremy Knee, and four family friends, Katrinka Hurt, James Tuttle, Sissy Judah, and J.W. Collins.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville. Burial will follow under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers will be Christine Penrod, Steven Penrod, Misty Penrod, Jeremy Knee, J.W. Collins, and Josh Hurt.
