Dorothy Hudspeth, 80, of Greenbrier, Arkansas went to meet her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 17, 2023. She was born October 10, 1942 in Chino, California to the late Columbus and Maudie (Stanley) Peterson.
Dorothy was married to the love of her life Ludene Hudspeth. They married June 21, 1962. They weathered life together through thick and thin with the guidance of The Lord. Dorothy's favorite quote that she used numerous times was, "If He brings me to it, He will bring me through it". Dorothy was saved as a young adult and was baptized by her husband, Ludene Hudspeth. She dedicated her life to serving God and others. Dorothy had a beautiful heart. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed reading, singing, cooking and looking for new recipes. Dorothy was a member of Victory Missionary Baptist Church of Heber Springs.
Dorothy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ludene Hudspeth of Greenbrier, Arkansas; son, George D. Hudspeth of Heber Springs, Arkansas; daughter, Cheryl (Chris) Blair of Conway, Arkansas; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Deanna Morrow of Texas and Belva (Dick) Gilinghan of Nevada.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her daughter, Sonja Trower; brother, Doyle Peterson; sister, Alice Taylor and her parents Columbus and Maudie Peterson.
Dorothy will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Visitation and funeral service will be held at Roller Crouch Funeral Home of Mountain View, Arkansas, June 21, 2023. Visitation will be at 1:00 PM; Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at the Hudspeth Cemetery, Onia, Arkansas.
