Billy Dean Dodson, age 79, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023 in Springfield, Missouri.

Billy was born on February 21, 1944 in Talequah, Oklahoma to the late Orvel and Ora (Reed) Dodson. Billy was an avid gardener and enjoyed "hauling Junk" and leaving it in the yard. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Carolyn Dodson of the home; sons, Michael (Gina) Dodson, Chance Dodson and Brian Dodson all of Yellville, Arkansas; daughters, Katherine Broyles of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Melissa (Carl) Smith of Everton, Arkansas; brother, Larry (Virginia) Dodson; grandchildren: Amos Harrold, Brianna Reyes, Christopher Broyles, Leann Dodson, Brandy Wallace, Amber Kiggins, Carissa Bass, Gabriel Taylor, Serenity Taylor and Victoria Wingo and numerous great grand children.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sons, Billy and Jimmy Dodson.
