Bobby Gilbert, a beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away on Wednesday, June 14th, He was seventy-eight. Bobby was born to Othelia and Vardaman Kee Gilbert in McGehee, Arkansas on April 12th, 1945. Bobby was a master mechanic with a career spanning more than 50 years, retiring from Lift Truck Services in 2010.

Although he didn't talk about it, Bobby was a Vietnam Veteran, serving proudly with the US Navy. Bobby was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved being outdoors. Those who knew Bobby will always remember him as a kind soul who was always warm and welcoming of all. ''Nothing remains the same, things change'' was Bobby's favorite quote. Bobby was preceded in death by his mother, Othelia; his father, Vardaman and siblings, Herbert, Betty, Henry, Shirley, Jimmy, Helen, Rodger and Barbra.

He is survived by his brothers, Billy and John; his wife, Donna; sons, Michael, Ed, Lee; 12 grandchildren and former spouse, Kathy.

Celebration of life will be held on July 22, 2023 at the family home.
