Mary was one of my 2nd Moms growing up. She holds the distinguished honor of teaching me the secret of how to cook perfect cornbread in a cast iron skillet. She was just one of the girls with us and we loved her dearly. Carla, she will always hold a special place in my life. She is now at peace with loved ones.
