Jerrie Shackelford Freyermuth left this earth for her Heavenly home on May 21, 2023. She was welcomed by her parents, Bro, V. M. and Louise Shackelford, brother: Elton Shackelford, sister: Betty Pannell, her special friend: Coyle Walter and many cousins and friends.
Left here on earth are sons: Mark Oxner (Kim), Kevin Palmer (Lois) and Chris Palmer (Karen); sister: Bonnie Newton (Hershel) and sister-in-law: Linda Hoffman. Grandchildren are Lindsey, Britton, Callee, Angel, Ashlyn, Crystal, Sara, Candace, and Jade. She had many nieces and nephews that adored her and anytime they had with her. She had 19 great-grandchildren.
She loved her nursing career that began at Helena Hospital and ended with Hospice Care in Abbeville, Louisiana.
The family gives special thanks to Dr. Blayne Beene, Dr. Jeffrey Miller, Dr. Lingyi Chen, Crown Point Assisted Living, Cavalier Nursing and Rehab, Landmark Baptist Church and County Line Baptist Church in Marvell, Arkansas.
The family asked that memorials be made to Landmark Baptist Women's Ministry, P. O. Box 177, England, Arkansas, 72046 or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105-1942.

Jerrie was such a wonderful person. I will forever be grateful to her for generosity to me. She was a loving and precious person with a sweet spirit. Heaven truly received an angel, but she will be sorely missed here.
