Billy Wayne Scroggins, Sr., 75, of Batesville passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023.
He was born June 11, 1947 in Batesville, Arkansas to Vernon W. Scroggins and Collene England Scroggins.
Billy was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Southside; he loved the Lord and his family. He was a car dealer, loved trading at pawn shops and flea markets. He was a Jack of all trades! He loved music, western movies and a good meal cooked by his wife.
Survivors include his wife and love of his life, Shirley Moser Scroggins; daughter, Deanna (Guy) Campbell of Tampa, Florida; two sons, Bill Jr. (Phyllis) Scroggins of Floral and Joey (Mary) Scroggins of Bald Knob; sister, Lisa Brinker of Batesville; six grandchildren, Kelly Catania, Ryan Campbell, Austin Scroggins, Cameron Scroggins, Alli Scroggins and Fenton Scroggins; seven great-grandchildren, Calvin Catania, Campbell Catania, Colson Campbell, Addelyn Scroggins, Ashton Scroggins, Caylee Scroggins and Camden Scroggins; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Tim Scroggins, Steve Scroggins and Ricky Scroggins.
Pallbearers are Bill Scroggins Jr., Austin Scroggins, Cameron Scroggins, Guy Campbell, Joey Scroggins and Paul Savage. Honorary pallbearers will be the Men's Sunday School Class, Denver Lamons, Larry Milligan, Fairl Anderson, Hairl Anderson and Lorena Anderson.
Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00pm Thursday, May 25, 2023 prior to service at the church.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00pm Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Fellowship Baptist Church under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville with Brother Richard Nuckolls, Brother Jerry Hagar and Brother John Wysinger officiating. Burial will follow at Palestine Cemetery.
A special thanks goes out to Arkansas Hospice for their outstanding care.

Shirley.....I just now saw this about Billy. I am so very sorry. He endured so much and he fought it all that he could for as long as he could.......and you were right there with him all the while. We pray for peace and comfort for you and all the family.

Billy was a awesome guy and a long time friend . Billy used to drive upon the Mt Jamestown and give us kids some candy ! I was maybe about 4 years old and he was around 20 years old I will always remember that !!
