Janie Holloway, 76, of Aubrey, Arkansas passed away peacefully Thursday, May 18, 2023 in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born Monday, September 30, 1946 to Harvey Guynes, Sammy Young and Christine Jordan in Moro, Arkansas.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Sherman Holloway of the home; two sons, Wesley Shirley (Kathy), Terry "Bubba" Chandler Jr.; two daughters, Tammy Gerrard (David), Angie May (Danny) all of Marianna, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren, Corey Chandler, Jake Gerrard, Matthew Gerrard(Hannah), Zack Delk, Chandler Delk, Preston Lane, Chase Shirley, Hunter Chandler, Lyle Chandler, Danielle Harris (Zack) and Jackson May; four great-grandchildren, Mary Chandler Gerrard, McClendon Collyns "Mac" Gerrard, Liam Delk, Baldwin Delk; one brother, Bobby Young (Pam) of Heber Springs, Arkansas; seven sisters, Barbara Oltman, Judy Eddleman, Joyce Helms (Harvey), Virginia Northcutt (Ronnie), Beverly Baxley (Terry), Diane Hart (Johnny), Gayla Fesperman (John) and sisters-in-law, Vicky Young and Cheryl Young and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; father-in- law and mother-in-law, John and Veneal Holloway; four brothers, Larry Young, Rusty Young, Jerry Young, Richard Young and two sisters, Clara Faye Payne and Betty Young..
Pallbearers will be Zack Delk, Chandler Delk, Jake Gerrard, Matthew Gerrard, Preston Lane and Chase Shirley.
Janie attended First Baptist Church in Marianna. She was a great cook and loved working in the garden with her roses and flowers.
Graveside services will be held Monday, May 22, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Spring Creek Cemetery in Aubrey, Arkansas. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas.
