Bobbie Nell Taggart Gatewood passed away in Marion on Saturday, May 13, 2023. She was born in Keiser on September 20, 1943, to Joseph and Lucille Taggart. Bobbie was a loving and caring person. She was of the Baptist Faith. She and her husband owned and operated Gator Print in Memphis. Bobbie loved spending time with her family and cooking big meals for the holidays. She enjoyed cruising in her Denali and going to the casino. Bobbie and her late husband, Floyce Douglas Gatewood "Gator", would take Sunday trips to the casino together. She was known to her father as "Bob" while helping him in his workshop. Bobbie is survived by her son, Doug (Leann) Gatewood; daughters, Janet (Kenny) Byard, Kathleen (Mark) Parker; grandchildren, Chris (Samantha) West, Joe Gatewood, Andrew (Leslie) Baum; great-grandchildren, Brennah, Carson, Brayden, Ameya, Jackson; sisters, Doris Sutton, Joann Driver and Joy (Randall) Pratt; She was preceded in death by her husband; parents and sister, Evelyn Ward. A Visitation will be held at Roller-Swift Funeral Home on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm. Interment: Mississippi County Memorial Gardens. Sister you will always be missed. We five sisters have had many years of happiness and much love to spread all around to every one. We will miss you and Evelyn in our get togethers. My mother held all of us together as a family. Now that she up in heaven with my dad and other family members ill will try to take her position in the family to hold us together big shoes to fill but I won't let my parents down.
