Ernie was such a fine man and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. I so appreciate everything that Ernie did to get our Lone Rock Volunteer Fire Department started, and the entire Lone Rock community owes Ernie a huge debt of gratitude. May he rest in peace.

Ernie, you will very missed. I first met you when you was my boss at Nana's. You was a great friend to me and my husband and a God- grandad to our kids. We told you that we love you every time we saw you and talked on the phone. We know that you are talking up a storm to Jesus, your momma, your daddy, and your family up there. We hope you get to do a whole lotta fishing. Love and miss you bunches, the Parlier family.
