Shannon ''Leigh'' Mayberry, 53, of Hoxie, AR, was taken from her loved ones on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at her home. Leigh was born November 24, 1969 in Arkansas, and proudly served in the US Army; she worked as a CNA and a housekeeper before retiring earlier this year. She was of the Pagan belief, and loved spending time on her farm, doing yardwork, watching horror movies, reading Anne Rice, and considered herself a survivalist.
Leigh was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Mayberry and Brenda (Bishop) Mayberry; and her brother, Thomas ''TJ'' Mayberry.
Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Leigh include her niece, Shana Scucchi; stepmother, Patty Mayberry; her brother, Josh (Sidney) Mayberry; niece, Jordyn Mayberry; and many, many lifelong friends who loved her and will miss her dearly.
No services are scheduled.
