of Delaware, AR
May 7, 1961 - May 6, 2023
Paul Alton Holt, Sr., 61, of Delaware, Arkansas passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on May 7, 1961. Paul was preceded in death by his father, Alton Holt and his sister, Debby Jones.
Paul is survived by his wife of 21 years, Mary Holt; his mother, Eva Holt; his children, Paul A. Holt, Jr; Ashley (Alex) Ragan; Amber (Larry) Ferris and James (Shanon) Pinson; his brother, Ed (Karla) Holt and his sister, Sherry Martin; 9 grandchildren; 2 nieces, 2 nephews and numerous extended family members and friends.
From an early age, to the frustration of many, Paul's love of dismantling anything with a motor and putting it back together, no doubt propelled him into several long careers working for Western Sizzlin and Western Foods. For the past 16 years, Paul was a service technician for Hugg & Hall. There was nothing Paul could not repair.
Paul loved River Mountain. He was happiest there in the home he and Mary built and shared. Paul loved his family, his grandchildren and his rottweilers. There was nothing he would not do for his family or his friends.
There are no words to convey the love and respect so many friends and family shared for this kind, witty and remarkable man. Paul's impact on so many lives is beyond measure.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock. Funeral will be 10:00 am Friday, May 12, 2023 at Lifeline Baptist Church, 7601 Baseline Road, Little Rock, with his uncle, Dan Holt officiating. Burial will follow in Graves Cemetery, in Delaware, Arkansas.

I am truly at loss for words. I have had the pleasure of working with Paul in my tenure at Hugg and Hall. He was a good husband ,father and a man that valued his family above all other things. Hard working and smart (he loved his job ) ,he was taken from this earth way too early.I don't think that there was anything that he could not repair once he set his mind to it,Always sharing his knowledge with others.,a good giving man. I was very fortunate to be able to not only call Paul my co-worker but also my friend. Rest in Peace .
So very sorry to hear of this tragic loss. Prayers for peace and comfort for his family during this time.
Our thoughts and Prayers are with Paul’s family. No words would be enough to express our deepest condolences.
Thoughts and prayers.
We will miss this Great Person every day.
Gonna miss you buddy
I've known Paul ever since he started here at Hugg and Hall. I was just showing and talking with him on Friday about his Laptop he had a issue with his software and well if you knew Paul he did not have a lot of patience for computer stuff!! Paul was one of the good guys would tell you like it is and how he felt, would also give you the shirt off his back if you asked him. I'm sorry just doesn't seem to help right now. The last couple times he talked to me he was complaining about that hip of his and how he was going to get it fixed soon!! Sigh...... I'm just so sorry.........
Paul you will be missed greatly. I am so sad about this,,,,
no words can convey the depth of sadness and sympathy for your family.
sometimes we say all I can do is pray for you, but that has an enormous impact on the hearts of all who share the Love of our Lord.
I was very sorry to hear about Paul. I worked with him here at Hugg & Hall. He supported me many times on equipment sales and the repairs needed. I was always glad to hear when Service said that they were sending Paul on a job that I needed done because I knew he would take care of the issue and my customers loved him. I am truly sorry for your loss, he will be missed very much by anyone who knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time.
