Brenda Jane (McCombs) Hertlein, 76, of Subiaco, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at her home.
Brenda was born April 15, 1946 in Subiaco, Arkansas to her parents, Clyde McCombs and Martha (Luman) McCombs. She was a supervisor for the pants factory in Paris for thirty-one years; a cell lead at Starks manufacturing for eighteen years and a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, reading, shopping, watching the birds, farming on Facebook and especially spending time with her grandbabies.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of fourteen years, Edward A. "Shorty" Hertlein; six brothers, Harold McCombs, Burl McCombs, Jearl McCombs, Kenneth McCombs, Bruce McCombs and Jerry McCombs and four sisters, Elewese Nixon, Anna Mae Askins, Selma Spicer and Edna Leatherwood.
She is survived by her son, Randy Hertlein and wife, Raven of Subiaco, Arkansas; a daughter, Donna Neumeier and husband, Bob of Ratcliff, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Sarah Tapley and husband, TJ, Rob Neumeier and wife, Melanie, Zach Neumeier and wife, Jean, Martha Neumeier and Ethan Miller, Shawn Hertlein and Ethan Hertlein; four great-grandchildren, Oliver Neumeier, Dawson Neumeier, Levi Tapley and Eloise Neumeier; other family members and friends.
Rosary will be held at 7:45 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2023 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at St. Benedict Catholic Church officiated by Fr. Mark Stengel O.S.B. Burial will follow in St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements and services are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Rob Neumeier, Zach Neumeier, Shawn Hertlein, Ethan Hertlein, Ethan Miller and TJ Tapley.
Honorary Pallbearers are Oliver Neumeier, Dawson Neumeier, Levi Tapley and Eloise Neumeier.
