Mildred Marie Kramer Arnold passed away in Batesville, Arkansas April 4, 2023, at the age of 104.
She was born December 06, 1918, the seventh child of thirteen, to George Lee and Sadie Tucker Kramer in Rosie, Arkansas. Mildred spent most of her life in Rosie.
On August 26, 1935 Mildred was baptized and became a member of Rosie Baptist Church. Alfred Arnold and Mildred Kramer were married July 20, 1945 in Oil Trough by Rev. Ben Cook. On August 19, 1946 they became members of the Oil Trough Methodist Church where they were very active and faithful members until they moved to Batesville in 1990 and eventually moved their membership to First United Methodist Church in April of 1994. They were active members as long as their health permitted.
Alfred and Mildred had no children of their own but were mentors to many. All of their family loved them deeply and the love was mutual.
She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 57 years; her parents; six brothers, Coy Kramer (Manola), Clyde Kramer (Genevieve), George Kramer (Sarah), J.B. Kramer, Nelson Kramer and Don Kramer; six sisters, Pearl Edwards (Everett), Della Wyatt (Roy), Gladys Cook (Herman), Ona Bannon (Joe), Ernestine Franks (Patches) and Marietta Pankey (S.T.).
She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Ura Fae Kramer, Joy May Kramer, Benolyn Kramer; many nephews and nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces, cousins and friends.
We wish to say special thanks to Pastor Katie Pearce, Bennie Burks and the staff of FUMC, Wood Lawn Heights Nursing Home, Caring Hands Hospice and Benolyn Kramer, who was not only her sister-in-law but her roommate.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
The service will be at First United Methodist Church at 2:00 pm Monday afternoon, April 10, 2023 with Pastor Katie Pearce officiating. Burial will follow at Kyler Cemetery in Southside under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm Monday preceding the service at the church.

Sorry for your loss. I know you will miss her. Be at peace knowing she is at rest.
Mildred and Alfred were so kind and loved by all. She is now safely home.

Sweet! Sweet! Lady!! I remember having Mildred as a Bible school teacher when I was young!!! Over the many years I did not see or visit her but reconnected in January of 2022 when my dad because a resident of Woodlawn!! I have had so many good visits with her since and feel so blessed !
Rest in everlasting peace Aunt Mildred. You will forever be in our hearts. Your love and kindness to your family in California was so appreciated. Be now with your loving husband, brothers and sisters mom and dad.
I remember going to Mildred and Alfred's home when I was a young girl. They were both so loving. They always made you feel so welcome.
I haven’t seen this sweet lady since I was a young boy but I can sure remember the way she and Mr. Alfred made me feel every time I saw them at Church. Rest in peace after a life we’ll lived.
