Allen W. Farris, 77, a resident of Coal Hill, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023 in Clarksville.

He was born November 26, 1945 in Clarksville to the late Mervin and Jessie Lee (Davidson) Farris. Allen retired from the Tyson Hatchery after 44 years of service. He was of the Pentecostal faith. In his spare time, Allen enjoyed watching birds at his feeders, watching the weather, especially his rain gauge and watching golf and westerns.

In addition to his parents; Allen was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Farris; a sister, La'danna Mae Farris and two grandchildren, Tyler and Ashlynn McKnight.

Survivors include a son, Michael Farris and wife, Samantha of Altus; a daughter, Lakisha McKnight and husband, David W. of Coal Hill; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Farris of Springdale, Piper Farris of Altus, Jessalyn McKnight of Coal Hill and Jace McKnight of Coal Hill; a brother, Mike Farris and wife, Becky of Clarksville and two sisters, Diana Howell and husband, Jerry of Muldrow, Oklahoma and Donna Pitchford and husband, Jim of Cabot.

Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 3, 2023 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville.

Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 3, 2023 at Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville. Burial will follow under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville.
