Asa "Tom" Adams, age 71, of Evening Shade passed away Friday, March 24 in Jonesboro, Arkansas with family by his side. Asa was born May 16, 1951, the son of Asa and Florence Adams, in Geneva New York. He married Gayle Buss on October 9, 1976 in Paxton Illinois. They resided there until after he retired and moved to Evening Shade, Arkansas.
Tom loved spending his time with family, going fishing, hunting, camping and other various outdoor activities. He spent the majority of his adult working life employed at BAC (Baltimore Aircoil Company). Asa is remembered by many as a kind and gentle man. He will never be forgotten. He was preceded in death by his mother, Florence; father, Asa Sr; wife, Gayle and brothers, Bobby and Jim. Survivors include his sons, Larry (Flor) Adams, James (Lori) Lytle; daughters, Nicole (Jerry) Murphy, Melissa (Mike) Williams; brother, Andy Adams; one sister, Alice Elkins; grandchildren, Angelica, Kayla, Zack, Samantha, Brandi, Meagan, Gage, Rheagan, Brayden and multiple great grandchildren.
Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Roller England Funeral Home with visitation 12-2 PM prior to service. Burial will follow at Brownsville Cemetery in Lonoke, Arkansas.
