Jay Houston Jackson, 48, a resident of Delaware passed away Monday, March 20, 2023 at his home.
He was born June 25, 1974 in Booneville to the late Henry and Bobbie (Becker) Jackson. Jay graduated from Paris High School and went on to earn a degree in diesel mechanics. After graduation, Jay worked for Hodges Heavy Duty in Russellville for many years.
Survivors include three sisters, Jamie Short and husband, Danny of Clarksville, Jennifer Early and husband, Lee of Conway and Jolynn Shull of Edwardsburg, Michigan; his "adopted" brothers, Shane Molton of Paris, Charlie Willhite of Paris, Gary Anderson of Delaware and the crew at Hodges Heavy Duty in Russellville and five nieces, Elizabeth Land and husband, Justin of Little Rock, Christina Early of Little Rock and Julie, Kathryn and Hannah Shull, all of Edwardsburg, Michigan.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Mt. Salem Cemetery near Paris. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

So grateful I was lucky enough to know him.
