Beverly Joan (Hunt) Evans, 79, of Guy, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 11, 2023. She was born in Newport, Arkansas on May 20, 1943, to Charles Woodrow and Opal (Malone) Hunt. Joan was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She was a master seamstress who enjoyed sewing for her family throughout the years and had in recent years learned to quilt with the "quilting ladies" at church. She also enjoyed taking a yearly trip to Branson with Sr. Saints. Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Robert Lee Evans; parents and brother-in-law, Carroll Wayne Wilson.
She is survived by her children, Bob (Renee) Evans, Rick (Jeana) Evans and Beverlee (Ryan) Edwards; eight grandchildren, Alysha Evans, Cassie Evans, Kaylyn Evans (Prasanth Matikanah), Coleton Evans, Will (Vanessa) Morrison, Bethnee (Dakota) Foote, JewelAnne (DJ) Heffentrager, Emmie Edwards; five great-grandchildren, Millee Foote, Grady Heffentrager, Barrett Heffentrager, Noelle Morrison, Henry Morrison; sisters, Jeanette Wilson and Judy (Ron) Ivie; sister-in-law, Betty Hubbard; brother-in-laws, Jerry and Tommy Evans, and numerous nieces; nephews; family and friends.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 11:00am, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Guy, Arkansas. Visitation will begin one hour prior at 10:00am. Burial will be at 2:30pm, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Weiner, Arkansas.
