I just found out today from my Uncle Dan Ives that my cousin Jessie Helen passed back in February. I know she is with God and in a better place. To be honest, I had not seen her since I was a child... and I am now 61.
Aunt Helen was an amazing woman that I met when I was just a child at Crest Variety and Sims
. She was always so good to me. She always spoke to mom when they both worked on the square and also when she worked at Walmart. Mom sure thought the world of Helen and they were neighbors as well. We will miss her dearly on this earth…but I’m sure she’s with friends and family rejoicing and visiting with loved ones who have been waiting to reunite with her. Prayers for peace and comfort and love and hugs to everyone being sent up.
Sympathy to all of Jessie Helens Family. We the Henry and Ina Eames family knew and were neighbors of the Hawkins family, for many years. You all are in our thoughts and prayers. ,,Steve Eames, and Maxine Eames Rogers.
My sincere condolences to your family. My prayers are with you.
