Bettye Lou Thompson Huskey, 66, of Osceola, AR passed away on February 25, 2023. She was born in Osceola, AR on May 22, 1956 to Thurman and Maggie Thompson. Bettye enjoyed sewing, shopping at flea markets and yard sales and dancing and singing. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandbabies. Bettye is survived by her son, Johnny Smithey Jr. "Skipper" (Vicky); daughter, Geri Bishop (Danny); grandchildren, Matthew, Gracie, Ethan, Brantlee, Noah, Jay; brothers, David Thompson, Jerry Thompson; sisters, Charlotte Carmichael and Sara Cooper. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Thurman "Pop" Thompson, Joe Frank Thompson, Jimmy Thompson; sister, Willie Louise Ashburn and granddaughter, Whitley Bishop. A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2023 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Roller-Swift Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 11:00am. Interment will be at Louise Chapel Cemetery.
