Virgil Durwood Teague, age 83, of Harrison, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023. Durwood was the son of Virgil and Helene (Head) Teague, born June 15, 1939, in Clovis, New Mexico.
He was an over-the-road truck driver and enjoyed farming, cattle, and horses.
Durwood was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, DeWayne Teague and Roy Teague.
Durwood is survived by his wife, Wanda, of the home; his son, Neil Teague (Cris) of Harrison; his daughter, Taralyn Casey (Billy) of Harrison; his sister, LaJuana McIntyre, of Willard, Missouri; his granddaughters, Danielle Litchford (Matthew) of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, and Christine Teague; his grandson, Brent Casey (Kelli) of Harrison; his great-grandchildren, Dustin Farris (Meranda), Trindon, Evelyn, and Brynlee; and his great-great-grandchild, Beckett.
Services were held Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Brother Kerry Liggett officiating.
Interment was at York Cemetery.

Taralyn, I am so sorry for your loss. I am keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
Durwood had a great smile, lots of stories, and was always fun to visit with. We’ll miss him. Our sincere condolences.
