Nina Ruth Padgett, 79, of Shirley, Arkansas went to be with her Lord on February 06, 2023 with her beloved family by her side. She was born on March 21, 1943 in Clinton, Arkansas to the late Doyle and Hazel (Huggins) Treece.
Nina grew up on Dodd Mountain in Shirley, Arkansas. She was a USDA inspector for Pilgrim's Pride, where she made work a pleasure for all of her coworkers. Nina retired in 2005. She was a great gardener and fisherman, but her greatest talents were being the best grandma, mom and friend anyone could ask for. Nina had a beautiful personality that would leave you happy, laughing and sometimes puzzled. She would tell you when you were wrong and then teach you how to make it right. Nina will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jonathan Bryson; one sister, Alfay Treece; two brothers, Thurman Treece, Jim Treece; one granddaughter, Bailey Jeffery and one son-in-law, Michael Holmes.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Farrell Keathley (Ilene), Aquilla Holmes, Jeremy Keathley (Barbara); siblings, Cotton Treece, Garner Treece (Betty), Dwain Treece, Ganelle Treece; eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and a host of extended family and many friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, Arkansas.
