Margie Fay Belding, age 87, of Pyatt, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Charlie and Vesta Richardson, passed away at Hillcrest Nursing Home on Saturday, February 4, 2023. She has gone on to her forever home with her Lord and Savior to see her many loved ones, especially her ''mommy.'' Margie was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Homer Richardson, Jimmy Dale Richardson, and Vincent Lee Richardson; a nephew, Tony Richardson; and her step-father, Clarence Hensley.
Margie was a long-time employee of the Marion County Nursing Home, receiving many recognition awards! She loved working with the elderly. Anyone who knew her knows she loved a good poker game. Not to mention she was quite good at it. In the later years, she grew very fond of her scratcher tickets, and all who visited her knew to bring her some or else! She enjoyed seeing and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Margie is survived by three daughters, Kandy Kay Choate of Bergman, Karolyn (Wes) Ramsey of Bergman, and Kathy Tam of Texas; three sons, Randy Belding of Bergman, Louis Hendrix of Germany, and David Patton of Wisconsin; a sister, Jerry Lee Keys, of Pyatt; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends, all who she loved dearly.
The funeral service was Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Pastor Tim Hampton (Sister Kristi) officiating. Graveside followed at Richardson Cemetery in Zinc, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were Dalton Ramsey, Wesley Ramsey, Steve Landrum, Josh Richardson, Sam Tinsley, and George Keys.
Honorary pallbearers were Tommy Tam and The Staff of Hillcrest Nursing Home.
