Mary R. Kemp, 74, of Clarksville, died Thursday, January 19, 2023, in Little Rock. She was born February 28, 1948, in Earle, Arkansas, to William Taylor & Pearl C. (Franklin) Turpin. Mary enjoyed cooking, helping others, she was a mentor to her co-workers or anyone that she met, she was involved in Foothills Gospel Tabernacle.

She is preceded in death by her husband George Clifford Kemp, parents William Taylor & Pearl C. (Franklin) Turpin, and a sister Bernice Watson.

Mary is survived by her son Greg (Susan) Kemp of Clarksville; four brothers Bill (Faye) Turpin, Carl (Barbara) Turpin, Kenneth (Linda) Turpin, and Ronald (Charlotte) Turpin all of Clarksville; three sisters Shirley Cameron, and Patsy (Gene) Strickland both of Clarksville, and Clara (Lester) Utley of Wynne; four grandchildren Alex Kemp, and Derek Kemp both of Clarksville; Weston Kemp of New York; and Alicia Merritt of Clarksville; two great grandchildren; 23 nieces and nephews and a host of close friends.

Memorial service will be 10:00 AM Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home with Bro. William Hickman officiating.
