Richard Frank Needles, 73, of Clarksville passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023 in Clarksville. He was born October 28, 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri to his parents, Richard Fletcher and Ethel (Taylor) Needles. Richard received the Award of the Bronze Star Medal for Heroism on January 18, 1970 at the Republic of Vietnam. He also received the Award of the Air Medal. Richard is a retired Navy Veteran. He enjoyed watching tv and using all types of remote-control toys.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Richard Fletcher and Ethel (Taylor) Needles; one sister, Martha and one grandson, Vincent Needles.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Needles; three sons, Joseph Needles, Charles (Sarah) Needles and Timothy Needles; two daughters, Kim and Chrystal (Jimmy) Hale; four grandchildren, Brian Flood, Gunnar Miller, Desirae Miller and Isabella Needles; three great grandchildren, Sabrina Flood, Edwin Flood and Angel Ware; one brother, Joseph Needles; one sister, Patricia Detiege and a host of other family and friends.
