of Searcy, AR
October 31, 1968 - January 7, 2023
Marjorie Louise Sears, 54, of Searcy, went to be with the Lord on January 7, 2023. She was born in Searcy, Arkansas to Frank Samuel Sears and Carolyn Jane Womack.
Marjorie was a child of God. She loved unconditionally and her faith was immeasurable. She adored her grandchildren and enjoyed the weekends they came to spend with ''Maw-Maw''.
After graduating from Circle High School in Towanda, Kansas and being awarded a scholarship at Butler County Community College, she worked as a licensed caregiver for the elderly. Following that, she worked in the catering and culinary industries. A favorite pastime of hers was studying the bible with her dear friend Peggy. She enjoyed walks outside with her dad and watching shows with her mom. Marjorie and her mom were devoted fans of the Kansas City Chiefs and you could often hear their animated cheering.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her brother, Frank Samuel Sears, Jr.; grandparents, Carlton and Louise Womack, Marjorie Parsley and Frank Henry Sears.
She is survived by her parents, Frank Sears (Yvonne) and Carolyn Smith; sons, Ian Scott (Amanda) and Zane Scott (Alex); daughter, Shellae Scruggs (Freddy); sisters, Marshia Sears and Mary Schneider (Daniel); grandchildren, Caara, Adrian, Chanelle, Evan, James and Jada; nieces and nephews, Adam, Sarah, David, Lucy and Henry; great-niece, Violet Jane and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 11, 2023 with service to follow at 2:00 PM at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
