Waymon Passmore, 87, of Guy, Arkansas passed away peacefully on January 4, 2023. He was born July 1, 1935 in Clinton, Arkansas to the late John Anderson and Maude Passmore. Waymon was a longtime member of Copperas Springs Baptist Church in Guy, Arkansas. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to Tunica to visit the casino. Waymon was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Wonna Sue (Hartwick) Passmore, parents and all of his siblings.
He is survived by five children, Virginia (Danny) Wiedower, Annette (Bobby) Wilson, Johnny (Kathy) Passmore, Robert (Tori) Passmore and George (Amanda) Passmore; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and lifelong friends.
Funeral Service will begin at 12:00PM Monday, January 9, 2023 at Copperas Springs Baptist Church in Guy, Arkansas. Visitation will be one hour prior at 11:00AM Monday at Copperas Springs Baptist Church. Burial will be at Copperas Springs Cemetery.
Sorry to hear this. My heart and prayers are with the Passmore family. Coach Passmore was like a father to me as a youngster. He is remembered by all the youngsters that played baseball for Guy.

I haven't seen this man since I was in HS. I helped him haul hay several times. Was always very nice and kind. I know he loved his family. So sorry for your loss. He will be missed that's for sure!

I'm so sorry of the passing your sweet Dad! Waymon was a great person and I know He was so loved by All of his great big family. I always loved the visits w him and Sue when they'd make their little rounds by Ryan and Laceys to visit & see the boys and I'd be there. Sweet memories! You All are in my Heart and Prayers.
