Robert Glenn McKeon, 78, left his earthly home and traveled with God to his eternal home on December 27, 2022. He was born August 27, 1944 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Emmitt and Lillian (Robbins) McKeon.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Johnnie Faye Stokes McKeon also his caregiver and uber driver for 20 years. Also, to cherish his memory is his daughter, Rhonda Newton; the joy and love of his life, great-grandson, Ayden Michael Darrall; grandson, Aaron and granddaughter, Amber Darrall; beloved granddaughter, Kimberlie; grandson, Mike Hendrix and many many friends.
Each person will have a different memory based on their relationship with him. Everyone will agree he lived life to the fullest and on his own terms. He was a 32 degree accepted Scottish Rite of Free Masonry, Valley of Little Rock, Arkansas; a perpetual member and past master of Magnolia Lodge #60, Little Rock, Arkansas; a member and served as treasurer of Mary Williams Lodge #307 of Little Rock; a member of American Dog Show Judges Association; lifetime membership with the National Park Kennel Club of Hot Springs, Arkansas; also a member of SEAC of Camden, Arkansas; a member of Saline Regional Public Water Authority and Bob was also manager of Saline County Water Works, located in Alexander, Arkansas for 40 years.
With his knowledge, dedication, leadership, determination, pure stubbornness and good employees, he has provided our community with water and sewer. Job well done, Robert "Bob" McKeon. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and everyone, all the people who came to him for help solving their problems. He never gave up until his time to go to a better place, his eternal home. He was a "DANDY"!
Funeral service will be Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 I-30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209. Burial will follow at Ten Mile Cemetery, 246 Ira Williams Road, Benton, Arkansas (Lonsdale).

I will miss getting text messages with his funny jokes. He was definitely a jokester, especially to his Yankee younger cousin. ☘ï¸â˜˜ï¸
