George Allen Schaeffer, age 51, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away from this life on Saturday, December 24, 2022, in Harrison, Arkansas. George was born October 28, 1971, in Harrison, Arkansas, the son of Bill and Joyce (Jones) Schaeffer. George was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Burlington, Arkansas. He worked with his dad and other family members and friends at Schaeffer Cedar Mill. He collected baseball cards and arrowheads. George's dog was always his favorite companion. He enjoyed hunting, and fishing, and loved to visit with family and friends.
George was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce (Jones) Schaeffer, grandparents, Don and Frances Schaeffer, and Ernest (Toad) Creager of Omaha, Arkansas, along with his grandpa, David Padgett of Ozark, Missouri
George is survived by his son, Austyn Schaeffer of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, Father, Bill Schaeffer of Omaha, Arkansas, sister, Linda Cryer of Omaha, Arkansas, and grandmother, Hazel Padgett of Harrison, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers were Joshua Cryer, Billy Joe Jones, Brad Harrison, Wesley Sanders, Curtis Tindel, and Allen Richardson.
Honorary Pallbearers were Jimmy Andela, Curtis Cobb, John Gatlin, Teddy Don Schaeffer, Matthew Schaeffer, Casey Jones, and the men of Bible Baptist Church.

I'll miss our George exchanging rocks and showing each other's finds ..well miss him always he was always smiling our deepest prayers too his family he loved with all his heart..a special person .god needed another angel around that throne...til we see each other again..
George I no the struggle and the pain we both fought addiction for years you will no longer fight that battle any longer you will be where addiction doesn't exist no more pain no more suffering. I no your in heaven we talked just a few weeks ago I was really looking forward to visiting you at your dad's church I saw you on a Monday then the next thing I hear God has called you home. Rest my friend I'll be seeing you soon. I will always be taking you with me and my ministry to try to do my best to get God's word to the lost and struggling addicts out there who need to no where you are and we can all go as well. I will miss you big time my friend.
I send my deepest condolences, we didn't know each other very long but he helped me out in ways unimaginable and I'm sorry I never got the chance to return the favor. Fly high buddy you will be missed

Praying for you all. Was in the same graduation class at Riverview Bible Baptist Christian School in 1990. Have wondered from time to time about George. Even prayed for him as well as I do for the rest of my classmates around the springtime of the year or when the Lord brings them to my mind.
