Marvin Davis, 78, of Marianna, Arkansas passed away peacefully Sunday, December 18, 2022 at his home. He was born Tuesday, September 19, 1944 to Wesley Jefferson Davis and Thelma Irene Bowen Davis in Moro, Arkansas.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife of fifty nine years, Diane Davis of the home; one son, Jeff Davis (Betty) of Aubrey, Arkansas; three daughters, Angela Goodman (Britt) of Cleveland, Mississippi, Amanda Robertson and Cheryl Davis both of Aubrey, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Kyle Goodman (Amanda) of Cleveland, Mississippi, Melanie Davis Lake (Wade), Tray Martin, Mikah Stojakovic, Lukah Stojakovic all of Aubrey, Arkansas and two great-grandchildren, Ayden Lake, Harper Lake both of Aubrey, Arkansas and one brother, Robert Davis (Mary) of Russellville, Arkansas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Michael Martin; two brothers, Donnie Bowen and Paul "Buddy" Davis and two sisters, Danita Jones and Paula Swords.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas with Brother Mike Mitchell officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. also at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Burial will follow services at Oak Grove Cemetery in Moro, Arkansas.

My heart goes out to all of you. This has been a really tough year all around.
I wish I could be there to hug and visit with you all. I have been so sick for the past month and am just trying to get through the holidays. It took three weeks to get my Christmas tree up decorated.
We are now looking at “blizzard like conditions†for Christmas
