of Bald Knob, AR
January 22, 1936 - December 7, 2022
Elmo W. Yarbrough, 86, of Bald Knob, Arkansas passed away on December 7, 2022. He was born January 22, 1936 in Judsonia to the late William Marvin Yarbrough and Rosie Ida Hart Yarbrough. He was also preceded in death by his brother, JD Yarbrough and sister, Shirley Smith, along with two nephews and one niece.
Mo is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dorothy June Layden Yarbrough; two sons, Marvin ''Tim'' (Tracy) Yarbrough and Eric Douglas (Kerri) Yarbrough; ten grandchildren, Tyler, Nick, Madilyn, Brynlee, Aby, Emery, Nova, Rory, Hanna Faith Yarbrough and Sebo Campos, along with a host of other loving family members and many many friends.
Mo served our country in the United States Air Force and during his time of service he made the softball team for the Air Force and traveled all over with the team representing the Air Force. He was transferred to a Base in Florida when he made the team and remained there until his discharge. On returning home he worked for Birdseye as a field manager and ended with Harding University Cafeteria as a cook for about 20 years. Mo was an avid Razorback fan and would be found watching any of their games.
He loved being with people and helping people as much as he could be, but the most enjoyment that he had was being at home with his family. He and Dorothy were married on December 22, 1966 and loved the home they had together. He looked forward to his sons and their families always coming home and spending time with them.
