Although I never met Ernest in person he was my first Ham Radio contact..I was nervous about keying that mic for the first time and this friendly voice answered when I did and made me feel very comfortable! He was very helpful and was very adamant about not being afraid to ask questions..I talked to him several times after and he was always very friendly and helpful...I will miss keying that mic on the Mount Magazine repeater and hearing KE5SPW come back! Rest in piece my friend...God Bless your family!
