Ida Boise Reaves, 88, of Benton, Arkansas went to her heavenly home on November 30, 2022.
Boise was born October 14, 1934 to her loving parents, Moses and Annie Kidd. After college, Boise began her fulfilling career in education, where she taught for 38 years. Boise retired from teaching at Pine Haven and began serving her community. Boise served the Lord at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Benton, Arkansas.
Boise is survived by her sons, Stuart (Beth) Reaves and Rev. Phillip Reaves and daughter, Sharon (Mike) Niemczyk. Boise leaves behind her grandchildren, Kelley Reaves, Melissa Belknap, Robert Reaves, Edward Niemczyk and Theresa Barnes and great-grandchildren, Charley, William and Lumen Reaves. Boise is preceded in death by her loving husband, Gordon Reaves; brothers, Bill Kidd and Gean Kidd and sister, Mary Jane Allinson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady Fatima Catholic Church in Benton, Arkansas at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, December 5, 2022. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Little Rock, Arkansas. A rosary will be held at Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home in Benton, Arkansas from 6:00-6:30 P.M. on Sunday, December 4, 2022. Visitation will follow the rosary at 6:30-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Catholic Charities of Arkansas, Our Lady of Fatima School, Bauxite Memorial Museum or Arkansas Hospice.
Nana, you will be missed. Thank you for my wonderful father. I hope you found peace.

Stuart, Sharon and Philip, I have many great memories of your mother. I think she was a shining example of a good and faithful mother, a woman of deep faith, very generous. May she Rest In Peace forever in the loving arms of God in his house in heaven!
