George Edwin "Bill" Parnell, 44, of Lamar died Monday, November 28, 2022 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born February 1, 1978 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Michael Ray Parnell and Betty Lou Boling. Bill was deeply devoted to his family. He was a loving husband and father. Bill was a proud certified boat engineer. He was a gun enthusiast, hunter and avid outdoorsman. He was also fond of restoring classic cars.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George E. "Bill" & Edna Parnell and maternal grandparents, Walter Robert & Joyce Lorene Blankenship.
He is survived by his loving wife, Andrea Parnell; two daughters, Abigale "Abi" Grace Parnell and Kayla Evan Kriesel & Kris; two grandchildren, Aidan Kriesel and Oliver Kriesel; his father, Michael Ray Parnell and wife, Doris; his mother, Betty Lou Boling and husband, Ernie; one sister, Tiffinia Marie Morrison and husband, John and one nephew, Kaleb Hunter Morrison.
A visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2022 at the funeral home followed by burial at Lamar Cemetery. Bro. Richard Snyder will officiate. Brian Baird, Eli Zachary, Kevin Grothe, T.J. Nipp, Daniel Dunlap and Charlie Tackett will serve as bearers.

Andrea, Abbi, Betty, Tiffiani and family- we are so very sorry for the loss of your husband, dad, son, grandfather and brother.
I will always hold the childhood memories with Bill close to my heart. I can still see him running around in his little white t shirt and the funny faces he would make while making his eyes get really big and walking on his tippy toes.
