Elizabeth Jane Marshall LaRue, age 87, of Bergman, died Friday, November 18, 2022, at Hospice of the Hills House, in Harrison, Arkansas. She was born on July 8, 1935, in Harrison. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie C. and Walsie M. (Wright) Marshall; her husband of 30 years, John E. LaRue; her daughter, Janet L. Archer Curtis; and her stepson, Wayne L. LaRue
.
Elizabeth is survived by her children and their spouses, Sherry Archer Keeter and Larry of Lakeview, Terri Archer Branon and Steve of Bergman, and Alan Archer and Gail of Harrison. She was ''Momma Liz'' to Randy Gillam and Tommie, Sharma LaRue, Dennis LaRue, Gayla, Deanna Mullins, and Cam.
Elizabeth is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, one soon-to-be great-great-grandson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth was a graduate of the Bergman High School class of 1953. She enjoyed bowling, camping, trips to the ''Blue Hole'', gardening, canning, watching NBA basketball, the Game Show channel, the Razorbacks basketball and football, and calling them ''Hogs'', Wooo Pig Sooie!!
She retired from Levi Strauss and was a member of the Levi Retiree's group that meets once a month for a luncheon.
The graveside service was Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at York Cemetery. Visitation was Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home. The interment was in York Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were Elizabeth's family and friends.

I remember spending lots of time with my mom and dad Jake And Mary Cain at Uncle John And Aunt Liz or that's what I called her.
