Shirley Ann Snyder, a beloved wife and mother, peacefully passed away on November 13, 2022, at the age of 86. She was a devoted wife to Victor Snyder of Harrison, Arkansas and a loving mother to three sons; Rick, Tony and JJ.

Ann was a very accomplished woman with many gifts and talents. Her love of God led her to share His Word with children as a Sunday School teacher at her local church in Bossier City, La. When her boys were young, she was a Cub Scout leader for their local troop.

She was a successful businesswoman, having owned and operated her own florist shop. She loved gardening and always had beautiful flower beds around her home. But she always had a flare for sketching, drawing, and painting and during her retirement years, she proved to be a very talented artist.

She is preceded in death by brothers, Cecil and Johnny Howard and sisters, Nellie Bolien and Mary Miller.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Vic Snyder, and their three sons and grandson, Johnny Snyder, and great-granddaughter, Kensie Ann Snyder


Services were Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Harrison Faith Church, 112 Valley View Church Road, Harrison, Arkansas 72601. Visitation was an hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers were Ed Robinson, Jeff Robinson, Larry McCully, Brian Belding, Noel May, and Dave Stahler.

The interment was at Maple Leaf Cemetery.


Our family would like to express our deepest appreciation for the care that was given to our loved one by the nurses and staff members of the Mt. Vista N.H. and the Legacy Hospice of Harrison.
