Bertie Mae McIntire Sutton, 80, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at the Blossoms Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mountain View, Arkansas. Bertie was born on February 24, 1942 in Mountain View, Arkansas to the late Hubert and Dollie (Yates) McIntire. She married Orvil Sutton, Jr. on July 6, 1962. Bertie was a member of Eastside Church of Christ and enjoyed knitting, crosswords, and word finds, but she really cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. Bertie will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.
Bertie is survived by her husband of 60 years, Orvil Sutton, Jr. ; one daughter, Sandy Sutton; one son, Greg Sutton and wife Jessica; four grandchildren, Tyler Norton, Kyla Sutton, Brett Sutton, and Lyncoln Sutton; one great-grandchild, Tatum Sutton; one sister, Bonnie McIntire; three brothers, James McIntire, Joe McIntire, and Jerry McIntire; four nephews, Shawn, Justin, Jessie, and Jeremy McIntire; three nieces, Amanda Hill, Jennifer Mitchell, and Megan McIntire; three step-grandchildren, Waryck, Ryker, and Jubilee and a host of many extended family and friends.
Bertie is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Dollie (Yates) McIntire, and three brothers, David, Johhny, and Don McIntire.
Visitation is Friday, October 28, 2022 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 2:00 PM with Lynn Smith officiating. Interment is at Bickles Cove Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas following the service.
Pallbearers are Shawn McIntire, Jeremy McIntire, Justin McIntire, Eric Mitchell, Wilder Mitchell, and Weston Mitchell. Honorary pallbearers are the male members of the Eastside Church of Christ.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.

I am so sorry for the loss of Aunt Bertie. She was always full of humor and so sweet to me. My husband Shawn has so many memories of his childhood that included her in it too. Sending all my love and prayers especially to Uncle Orvil, Sandy, and Greg and all the grandkids. â¤ï¸
