February 19, 1931 - October 17, 2022

Harry Lee McCullough, age 91, went to his Heavenly home on Monday, October 17, 2022, surrounded by his family. Harry liked reading the Bible and talking about the Bible and Jesus. He was passionate about the gospel. He had a sweet tooth and will always be remembered for loving brownies, cakes, and pies. Harry loved any music Betty would sing, such as the Beautiful Star of Bethlehem.

Harry is survived by his son, Joe McCullough, and wife, Rose of Rogers, Arkansas; his daughters, Connie Savage of Harrison, Arkansas, Pat Hankins and husband, Jeff of Ottawa, Kansas and Tina Burns and husband, Bill of Alpena; his sons-in-law, David Fultz of Alpena and David Schell of Dubai.

Harry is also survived by his fourteen grandchildren, Nathaniel Schell of Dubai, Mark Fultz of Alpena, Monica Colbert of Alpena, Tony Fultz of Alpena, Rusty Savage of Missouri, Jeff Savage of Alpena, Destiny Collins of Harrison, Josh Hankins of Ottawa, Kansas, Julie Estrada of Ottawa, Kansas, Jonah Hankins of Ottawa, Kansas, Billy Jack Burns of Alpena, Lasea Forney of Alpena, Buster Burns of Alpena and Michael McCullough of Rogers; thirty-nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; his brother, Cecil Jevons, of Anacortes, Washington and a host of family and friends that will miss him.

My wife and I were driving though Maplewood today & noticed that Bro. Harry passed on Oct. 17. He preached at our church in Humnoke, AR. I considered him and Miss Betty dear friends in Christ. While watching the video I noticed a picture of him preaching from the rooftop of that church in Humnoke. It’s a day I’ll never forget. I offer my condolences to the family, but I assure you he’s in a better place rejoicing with Betty and offering praise to our blessed Savior.

My sympathies go to your family’s in the loss of a wonderful Christian and a friend to me. I’ve not known Harry. Very long, just after he moved to Maple Esplanade.
