John Walter Howard, age 69, of Flippin, Arkansas passed away Friday October 14, 2022 at his home.

John was born October 2, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois to Alfred W. and Vivian Donna (Peters) Howard. He was a biker, he enjoyed good food and family. His grandkids and great-grandkids were most important to him. He was a tattoo artist which he enjoyed and he liked to collect coins. He liked Cubs baseball, Bears football and especially loved holidays with his family.

John is survived by his son, John W. Howard II, of Flippin, Arkansas; two daughters, Dina Howard of Leesburg, Florida, Cathy Kriel of Mountain Home, Arkansas; two brothers, Alfred Howard (Gwen) of Chicago, Illinois, Don Howard (Beverly) of Paragould, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Kristen Martin (Dusty), Bryan Henley, Jessica Henley, Trenton Henley (Brittany), Dante Howard and four great-grandchildren, Landon Booher, Camden Martin, CharliGrace Martin and Skyler Henley.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for Mr. Howard will be 2:00-3:00 pm Thursday October 20, 2022 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.
