Billy Lee Townsend, 86, of Moro, Arkansas passed away Friday, September 23, 2022. He was born April 15, 1936 to Parks Townsend and Elizabeth Wafford Townsend in Moro, Arkansas.
He is survived by two sisters, Louisa Summitt and JoAnn (Sue) Duckworth, both of Moro, Arkansas; one brother-in-law, Bobby Grappe of Pasadena, Texas; one niece, Virginia Stiltner of Hardy, Arkansas and several other nieces, nephews and one step-son, Glen Garrison, of Lake City, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Townsend and his parents; two brothers, Vernon Townsend and John B. Townsend; two sisters, Carol Massey and Peggy Grappe and one nephew, James Townsend.
He served his country in the United States Army.
He was a member of Gospel Lighthouse Church in Moro, Arkansas.
