Michael E. Ahrns, 65, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022 in Paris. He was born on February 28, 1957 in Elk City, Oklahoma to his parents, Richard and Ernestine (Geels) Ahrns.
Mike was the owner and operator of Ahrn's Masonry. He volunteered his talent to many organizations over the years including the Coal Miner's Memorial, St. Joseph Catholic Church and Cemetery where he was an active member for many years and would even brick homes for less fortunate families in the community that where experiencing tough times. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3787 in Paris and was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan.
In addition to his parents, his is preceded in death by one brother, John Ahrns.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Regina (Whitson) Ahrns of Paris; one son, Jason Ahrns of Fairbanks, Alaska; one sister, Mary Ann Gilbert and husband, Sammy of Magazine; two brothers, Louis Ahrns of Magazine and Paul Ahrns of Scranton and his nephew, Justin Iames and wife, Kim of Fort Smith.
A memorial rosary will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. with a visitation to follow beginning at 6:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris.
A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris officiated by Fr. Reginald Udouj O.S.B.. Burial of cremated remains will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Iames, Andy Jones, Johnny Keathley, Justin Keathley, Tim Revis, Richard Doom, Eric Wells and John Paul Wells.
