Agatha A. Hale, 81, of Knoxville died Friday, September 9 in Clarksville. Agatha was born August 18, 1941 in Fort Smith to Rufus Hornsby and Helen (Harrison) Nolen. She was an operator at First National Bank in Fort Smith, then served as a CNA in various nursing homes. Thereafter, Agatha spent most of her years as a homemaker. She had a beautiful heart, overcoming many difficulties in her life and then enjoyed being a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and even great-great-grandmother. Agatha was of the Pentecostal faith and loved attending church. She was deeply devoted to her family and cherished her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Helen Harrison; one daughter, Catherine Harderson; three sisters, Joette Simcox, Bernice Westover and Helen Bolton; and five brothers, Clayton Nolen, Jimmy Nolen, Darrell Nolen, Harold Nolen and Randall Nolen.
She is survived by one son, Richard Schreckhise and wife, Deborah; four daughters, Mary Countryman, Sheila Kay, Lisa Rhoads and Barbara Schreckhise; one sister, Meredith Ashe and a great many grandchildren, great-granchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. October 1, 2022 at Cornerstone Church, 1191 Mills Road, Clarksville.

Granny, I will always hold a place special in my heart for you. Thank you for loving me like your own. I will always cherish the times we spent together and I'm so sorry I wasn't able to see you before you passed. These grand babies and I love you see early.
