I don't know why I was looking through these today, it might be because I was thinking about Tuesday being 6 months since I had my stroke and realizing how close I came. The last time I talked to Gary was about 6 months after Grandma Lorene passed away. My Papaw was James Lemons. I was just thinking about some of the trouble we would get into and also out of when we could. We both were always hard workers helping Papaw by bucking hay, cutting wood, castrating pigs, etc. We also had fun though, riding bikes, shooting, going fishing in Bobby Joe's pond and generally just being kids. These are great memories to remember and also, painfully sorrowful, because I will not be able to talk to him again while I am on this earth and say "Hey Gary, do you remember when we .........". Maybe the next time I see him, we can go fishing again like we used to. I am sorry for the family's loss, but when we all see each other again, we can have a get together like we used to and have some of Grandma Lorene's coconut cream pie and some hand churned ice cream.
So sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you at this time. May God comfort each of you. He will be greatly missed. Rita & John Dorney
