Joseph Gene McVay, age 78, of Scott, passed away August 19, 2022.
He was born June 4, 1944, in West Monroe, Louisiana, to Acie Benjamin and Carrie Mabel McVay. He was preceded in death by his parents, son James Lewis McVay, and sister, Willie Mae Munnerlyn.
He is survived by his children, Joseph McVay, Jr., Chip McVay, and Melissa Hughes; sisters, Barbara Munnerlyn and Sue Skinner; and brother Felix McVay.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 3, at 2:00 p.m., at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock.
