Nick Highfield, 63, of Ratcliff, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, August 9, 2022 in Fort Smith.
Nick was born, May 28, 1959 in Paris, Arkansas to A.C. Highfield and Irene (Sikes) Highfield. He was a concrete worker and enjoyed doing small engine repairs. He loved to go hunting and fishing in his spare time and was known for having a beautiful vegetable garden every year, making hand crafted jewelry and visiting the County line sale barn every week.
He is preceded in death by his parents, mentioned above; a daughter, Stephanie Highfield; seven brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his daughter, Misty Morales and husband Miguel of Jacksonville, Texas; a sister, Neta Stinnett of Paris, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Kate and Clara Morales; other family members and friends.
Graveside Funeral Service and burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 13, 2022 at McVay cemetery in Carbon City under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Miguel Morales, Stevie Elliott, Kenny Witby, Paul Highfield and Jeffrey Stinnett.
Uncle Nick was a simple, pure, amazing family member. I’m thankful to have known him. Rest In Peace, my perfect uncle.
We were so sorry to hear of your loss. We all loved Nick.
Nick was a lifelong friend to me and my brother Jay.
I am so sorry for the loss of Nick. I have such good childhood memories of Nick and how he helped Grandma and Momma being glad he was around there to help.
Misty, I love you and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family,
I just know Grandma, Momma, and Brant were waiting for him on the other side.
He loved the kids and spoiled them rotten with candy I will miss him prayers love and hugs sent to you all

He will always be in our hearts as we remember him well throughout our years.
