To have known Daniel Webster Felton is to have known love. If you were his family, friend, colleague, customer or anyone else who crossed his path, you know as we do that, he loved you. You also know how revivifying it was to commune with someone of such impeccable character, unimpeachable honesty and boundless energy. The example he set through the standards to which he held himself encourages us all to be better than we are and restores our faith when it is lacking.
Danny was born on March 21, 1957 in Little Rock. He started sprinting shortly thereafter and never stopped. Growing up in a family with five kids, he became self-sufficient at an uncommonly young age, as he had places to be and no time to wait. He bought his first motorcycle at 15 and taught himself how to ride. He developed a fierce independence, one of his most defining traits, in school at Little Rock Central, where he met Becky, the love of his life. They bought their first house after graduation and soon started their family.
He was a self-made jack of all trades. After the birth of his son, he repurposed his mechanical aptitude, developed by assembling motorcycles throughout high school, and the university business classes he had taken into a career engineering and selling commercial trucks. He demonstrated how far doing the right thing can take you in business. To customers, he was much more than a trustworthy salesman and painstakingly careful engineer- he was a dear friend.
Busy career notwithstanding, Danny was an ever-present father and husband. He attended every award ceremony, graduation and recital and coached baseball and basketball teams, all while keeping his home in flawless order. He was an unwavering companion to Becky, whom he loved as much on their 44th anniversary as he did on their first. He was a gentle and dutiful son to both his father and mother up to their passing, and he cherished his close bonds with each of his brothers and sisters. He was a competitive runner until, in mid-life, he swapped his sneakers for skis, a treasured hobby thereafter. As his kids matured, he remained a fixture in their lives, frequently crossing the country to visit his daughters and the world to visit his son.
Danny found great comfort in an unshakeable faith in God, which he embodied every day. Although he died on August 1, 2022, his legacy lives on through the innumerable lives he touched, particularly his wife Rebecca Lyn Felton, née Skipworth, son Christian Webster Felton, two daughters Victoria Marie Felton Forman (husband David Forman) and Olivia Ann Preston (husband Julian Preston), and four grandchildren Emmett Donavon Forman, Holden Alexander Forman, Judah Daniel Preston and Norah Clair Preston. He was preceded in death by his father James Webster Felton and mother Wilma Frances Ammons.
Visitation will be held in Little Rock from 6-8 pm, Friday, August 12, 2022, in the Garden Room of Roller Chenal Funeral Home. A Funeral service will follow at 1 pm, Saturday, August 13th at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, 310 W 17th Street.
I just heard the news! So tragic!
I grew up with Danny in Little Rock Arkansas! It was a time where we all played together down the street we would close off each end of the street and line the middle of the street with picnic tables and everyone would bring out all their food and we would have a giant block party! We would play in the woods and all over the neighborhood! I'll always have those great memories!
Rest in peace my friend!

Your loss is our loss, as family we cry with you and pray with you.
Lots of childhood memories of Danny when the Feltons came to Enid once a year to visit Grandparents for a couple weeks. All the mischief we got into!
Danny never forgot those days and often stopped to visit and reminisce on his way to and from
snow skiing. A terrible loss of a dear loved one.
I’m so sorry I never had the pleasure of meeting Danny Felton but I sure love his daughter, Olivia and his son-in-law, Julian who is special to me and 2 of his grandchildren, Judah and Norah.
Praying for your family during this tough time.

Danny for a true friend. He called me in May just to talk, no truck talk. We both had stomach trouble about the same time. Even tho I have retired I miss eating with him and our regular talks about family. Just wanted you to know how much he loved his family. Kenneth Burns
